Hello,
currently I am reviewing and taking notes on the supplied literature list. My last revision of my proposal contains some changes throughout but more so I am focusing on my Research Methods section. Some thoughts I have had on narrowing down my topic and method is to gather data through analysis of interviews and published literature and describe a specific case study approach I will use. Also I have thought I could conduct 10 interviews with graphic communication lecturers in European institutions as well as Australian with questionnaires for staff and students on a broad range of graphic communication courses to pinpoint their training in education theory and identify possible examples of teaching. I will elaborate on this once I have established some clear thoughts on my readings.
Concurrently with these tasks I would also like to set-up email interviews with Steven Heller and Sharon Helmer Poggenpohl as they are influencial to the discourse of design education.
